The processional merkabà cross (Merkabah in Hebrew) is so called because the term meant, according to the vision of the prophet Ezekiel, the chariot / throne of God that was transported by four creatures. The four creatures seen in the cross (Taurus, lion, eagle and man) are the image of the evangelists and point to the four cardinal points, to bring the gospel to all peoples. The Virgin Mary in this case is behind the cross and not below, as in the processional world cross. The cross is available in brass or gold-plated, removable in 4 pieces
